Cookie & Tracking Policy
Last Updated: August 18, 2026
This page describes the cookies, local-storage identifiers, and similar tracking technologies ("Trackers") used on rampwithai.today, operated by RAMP.AI LLC. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. Categories of Trackers We Use
- Essential / Functional (first-party): Required for the site and the AI chat widget to function. These cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality, but you can remove them at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
- Analytics: We do not currently use any third-party analytics cookies or trackers on this site.
- Advertising: We do not currently use any advertising Trackers on this site. See Section 3 for what happens before that ever changes.
2. Tracker Inventory
| Name / Key | Type | Purpose | Party | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
ramp_ai_user_id | Browser localStorage (not a cookie) | Lets the AI chat widget recognize a returning visitor so conversation context can resume | First-party | Until you clear site data | Essential / Functional |
ramp_ai_session_id | Browser sessionStorage | Scopes one chat conversation to one browser tab/visit | First-party | Expires on tab close | Essential / Functional |
facebook-domain-verification | HTML meta tag (not a cookie) | Proves ownership of this domain to Meta Business Manager; does not itself track visitors | N/A | Static | Not a Tracker |
Meta (Facebook) Pixel — not currently enabled. Our site is configured for Meta domain verification, but the Meta Pixel itself is not active: no Pixel script runs and no visit data is transmitted to Meta. If we enable the Meta Pixel in the future, it would collect information about your visits (pages viewed, actions taken, events such as form submissions) and transmit it to Meta Platforms, Inc., which processes that data subject to its own privacy policy (https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/). Under the CCPA and similar state laws, that transfer may be considered a "sale" or "share" of personal information even though no money changes hands.
3. Our Commitment Before Any Advertising Tracker Goes Live
Before the Meta Pixel or any similar advertising Tracker is enabled on this site, we will:
- Update this page and the Privacy Policy to disclose the Tracker accurately;
- Ship a consent/preference control allowing you to opt out of advertising Trackers;
- Honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request automatically — an advertising Tracker will never fire for a visitor whose browser sends GPC or who has opted out; and
- Add a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link to the site footer as required by applicable state law.
Advertising Trackers in our codebase are gated behind a consent check that defaults to denied, so none can ship without the steps above.
4. Your Choices Today
- Essential storage: The first-party chat identifiers above can be removed by clearing your browser's site data for this website. They are not offered as a toggle because the chat widget cannot function without them.
- Browser controls: You can block or delete cookies and site data through your browser settings.
- Questions: Contact privacy@rampwithai.today.
5. Changes
We will update this page whenever the Trackers on this site change, and review it at least annually alongside the Privacy Policy.
